Guinness Rugby Premiership Titles
Anew Guinness Rugby Premiership season meant a new title sequence for all of SkySportsHD unique converage. Voodoo worked seamlessly with Sky's in-house creatives to fine tune this fantastic and grand action piece. This was a 2 month project from intital ideas, to its first transmission date. The tone for this project was set in dramatic fashion by director and designers Adam Wells and Chris Wilcock - it was to be big on scale and harness the thunder and passion of Premiership Rugby.
Two teams would 'throw-down' on a vast chest playing field, the size of the chess pieces and the enormity of the chess board echoing the power of and pace of these elite sportsmans. With some great shots re-worked heavily in post to gain further distance and grandeur, highlighting the power of collision in this sport, culminating in some heavy destruction of these larger than life majestic chess pieces. The teams efforts were rewarded with a BAFTA nomination for 'Best Title Sequence' and a Promax World Gold for 'Best Sports Opner'
